Concrete Stenciling

Concrete Stencilling in Townsville

Want the look of tile, brick, slate or stone on your driveway, patio or pathway – without the cost of the real thing? Concrete stencilling imprints a decorative pattern into a coloured overlay, and most jobs are finished in a day or two.

What is concrete stencilling?

Stencilling is a decorative technique built on the same resurfacing process: a coloured, cement-based overlay is applied over your existing concrete, and before it sets, a stencil imprints your chosen pattern into the surface. The finished result is slip-resistant and fully sealed.

We offer a wide range of colours, textures and pattern designs to match your home or business.

Our process

  1. We clean the surface with a concrete power washer, removing dirt and grime a hose or broom can’t shift.
  2. We apply a primer and base coat to the surface.
  3. We apply the chosen stencil pattern.
  4. We apply a protective covercrete layer over the pattern.
  5. Once dry, we sweep the surface clean and apply a final coat of sealer.

Just want a plain refresh instead?

If you don’t need a decorative pattern and just want a tired surface restored, see our Concrete Resurfacing page – it’s a simpler, lower-cost option for the same underlying process.

Keeping it looking good

Once sealed, stencilled concrete is low-maintenance: sweep regularly, rinse down as needed, and reapply sealer roughly every two years to protect against sun, moisture and everyday wear.
